Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification

The Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification validates that IT professionals have the necessary skills for such roles as network technician, support engineer, systems engineer or network engineer. This advanced certification validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions.

The Cisco Certification Program has aligned with the job-role expectations of network engineers at the professional level. The CCNP Security certification for security engineers who are responsible for testing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting the core technologies; CCNP Voice for professionals who implement, operate, configure, and troubleshoot a converged IP network, and; CCNP - Wireless for those who support and manage Cisco wireless LANs and networks.
